2012 Movie Poster

2012 is an epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world. This movie is based on the interpretation of the Mayan calender, astrology and the ancient Chinese fortune-telling text, the “I-Ching.” According to the Mayan’s prophecy, something is expected to happen on December 21, 2012. This is when the natural disasters such as typhoons, tornadoes, floods and volcanic eruptions will take place in the world.

2012 is directed by Robert Emmerich. Casts of this movie are John Cusack, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton and Oliver Platt. The full-length movie trailer has just been released but the movie will be only released on Friday, November 13, 2009. The special effects are amazing and so surreal. Can’t wait to watch the movie.

Will the world end in the year 2012? Personally, I don’t believe it will…and your guess is as good as mine! God have mercy on all of us, if the end of times will be as depicted in the movie.

And now for some comic relief, go here to watch The Mum Song and here http://www.cmt.com/videos/misc/401626/2009-cmt-music-awards-1-usa-weekend-breakthrough-video-of-the-year.jhtml?id=1614111 to watch Taylor Swift’s Star Trek Skit at the recent CMT Music Awards. God knows most of us need it after such a dramatic and angst filled week!! Ever felt like using the phaser on someone?? Your mum perhaps?

If Today Was Your Last Day

If today was your last day and tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your last?

Second Chance

X-MEN ORIGINS – WOLVERINE

Yeap, watched this yesterday at Cathay Cineplex, the prequel to the X-Men trilogy. :) Overall, I’ll give it a 7/10. Hey! It’s considered good, okay?! The best part is, Will.I.Am. acted in this show. YES! The guy from Black Eyed Peas! How awesome is that? Plus, he looked real cute in the show too :D

So, why do I like the show?

I think the some parts of show was pretty humourous and hilarious so much so that the audience broke into an applause several times during the movie. The Blob ( fei chai ), John Wraith ( Will.I.Am ) and Wade/Deadpool ( Ryan Reynolds ) spiced up the show. Wade stole the movie with his one liners and funny antics. He just couldn’t keep his mouth shut! Ryan Reynolds as Wade/DeadPool was fantastic And the Blob’s real big and he’ll get angry if you mock him about his weight, size etc. Wolverine called him ‘bub’ but he heard ‘blob’. WHAM! You should know what happens next. :P What I liked best about the movie…. the actors. I was swooning over most of them, namely Agent Zero, Gambit, Bradley, Wade and Wolverine.

The ending… Wolverine is shot in the head by Stryker with adamantium bullets which makes him unconscious. He wakes up with amnesia. Although Kayla manages to use her power of persuasion to make Stryker walk away, she bleeds to death. Before the ending credits, Stryker is seen walking until the armies stop him and he is wanted for investigation for murdering General Munson.  Oops. I guess I’ll stop here. But before I minta diri, seriously?? Meh.

Seven nights I have laid to waste,
I’m burning out now,
I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired

What’s up?

April 26, 2009

So what’s going on in my life? First up, I’m sick. Yes. SICK. Almost everyone is.

SO ANYWAY, Intervensi 2 is over. Time to party!!! WOOHOO!! TEEHEE!! WordPress has detected an error in this statement. Please rephrase it. What the???!@$#@%^>?!!??!?!?!

Ah! Merde!!.mid term exam is in a month’s time. This is ridiculous, outrageous, completely bonkers, nuts, crazy, nonsensical, blablabla etc. My gosh. I can’t bring myself to start the whole studying and revising  process all over again! The thought of exams leaves me jaded and tired. I can’t wait for PMR to be over. On the bright side, there’s something to look forward to this Thursday, cross-country.

After watching NigaHiga’s “Why Chris Brown beat Rihanna up” video, I hafta admit that he’s pretty funny! :D Better than KevJumba who just talks and talks and talks. Don’t get me wrong, KevJumba’s just as funny, but in a totally different way. That reminds me..I can’t believe “someone” thought KevJumba was a fruit. Uh,hello? Jambu Jumba!! SHEESH!!! Oh well. Better start on  the dumb projects. Sigh..

Mad World.

April 13, 2009

I think Adam Lambert sang “Mad World” really well. Period. Well, at least he did a much better job than Tears for Fears and Gary Jules. Adam Lambert’s rendition was haunting whereas the version by Tears for fears is more upbeat and uptempo. I may not like Adam because of his “looks” nor do I agree with his lifestyle [ no offence to die hard Adam Lambert fans (: ], but when I heard him singing “Mad World”, it actually sent shivers down my spine and all the way to the soles of my feet. Sexual orientation aside, Adam Lambert is an awesome and talented singer!

Moving on..to the subject of mojo. Who/what has been stealing my mojo? Boohoo. I’ll tell you. EXAMS and PROJECTS!!  One more week to Intervensi 2, five more weeks to Mid-Term and God knows when the projects are due! My plate is FULL. The next five weeks will be madness and  a challenge in a myriad of soul sucking way. Someone please, Just Shoot Me.

Drive.

Whatever tomorrow brings, I’ll be there,
with open arms and open eyes, yeah.
Whatever tomorrow brings, I’ll be there,
I’ll be there….

Numero Uno

March 20, 2009

I’ve decided to start a completely new blog. Not only because I got bored with the old one, but I wanted  a new start and to let go the memories of 2008.

To me, letting go isn’t about blocking memories, isn’t about loss but about cherishing  memories, moving forward and above all, to be thankful for the experiences that made me cry, made me laugh and made me grow. But memories are supposed  to stay  where they belong, that is, locked in the back burners of our mind, locked up inside with bonds drawn tight.

There were the good times and  bad times, I have to admit. But, I need a new beginning.  I need to find my mojo i.e. magic, charm, energy,  zest, drive, zip, zing, spirit, verve, pizzazz, punch, passion, oomph, power,  vigour and feistiness once again. A new year, a new beginning, a whole new Sara ( A new year? We’re already into March! ). Wow, It sounds like something tragic happened. Don’t get me wrong. I didn’t lose anyone nor am I mourning  the happy incident of 24th January 2009. What I learned from this incident is, never, never settle for anything less than what I  deserve. You’re not my equal with your cowardice.

Anyway, from new and small beginnings come great things. So hopefully, 2009 would be a much better year. I know it would, I just know,  despite  all the sham, drudgery, and broken dreams.

On an unrelated note, ever wondered what’s the meaning of life? Life seems so meaningless at times. Scratch that, I know the Heart of Life is Good.
